But just dont expect a super polished game that will have updates coming all the time because that just wont happen.ĭefinitely agree about regular updates, this isn't a big studio. Yes but there are lots of ways to glitch your game without knowing so save frequent. In my first play-through I'm at almost 200 hours, though I continued playing even after there wasn't a lot new to do. If you enjoy business or tycoon games, you will likely enjoy DDS. It's a bit rough around the edges, and needs some quality of life improvements, but it's very solid at the point it's at now. DDS has a a good amount of game-play but is still needs much more end-game content. The answer to your initial question depends on what type of games you like and how complete you expect the games you buy to be. Blackop Gaming has some great in-depth videos about the game, definitely worth watching a couple if you're considering the game. If you're unsure about the game, I recommend checking out some Youtube videos to get a sense of the game-loop. I got it for twelve dollars or something similar so I've more than gotten my money's worth. What you will find is a good drug dealer simulator that needs some work but is worth it at full price and an even better value on sale. However, the devs have been clear that the direction they're heading now won't feature things like shootouts, so if that's what you're looking for, you won't find it in DDS. I never watched that trailer, so I'm not in that camp, but I get why they're upset. The reason why a lot of people are rightfully upset is an early trailer for the game included things which aren't in the game now and won't be in the game in the future. The game starts you out with a few drugs and a few additives, and as you complete sales you level up and unlock new content. Getting busted means losing your drugs and most of the money you have on you. It also has police patrols, who have a chance to search you during the day and automatically arrest you at night during curfew. The main game loop involves buying drugs, cutting them with various additives to strengthen them, weaken them, make them more addictive, or make them less toxic, selling packages of drugs one customer or dealer at a time, and then investing that money into new apartments, equipment, and more drugs. The devs haven't said when the update is coming out, but have been teasing it for a little while.
